Daily Selah ("we", "our", or "the app") is a daily devotional reading app. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Account Information
If you sign in with Apple, we may receive your name and email address (depending on your Apple ID settings). This is used solely to identify your account and enable cross-device sync.
Reading Progress
We store your reading activity to provide the app experience:
App Preferences
Your settings (theme, text size, notification preferences) are stored locally and synced to the cloud if you are signed in.
Subscription Status
We record whether you have an active premium subscription. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details.
Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you sign in with Apple, your progress and settings are also stored in Google Firebase/Firestore, secured by Firebase Authentication.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use any analytics or advertising SDKs. The only third-party service we use is:
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. Locally cached lessons are automatically deleted after 30 days. If you sign out, your local data remains on the device but cloud sync is disabled.
Daily Selah is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
